The official groundbreaking ceremony publicly symbolized our long time dream of creating a premier health and wellness destination in Buffalo Grove. The 50,000 sq. feet addition will expand Sky Fitness tremendously. Member experience will be elevated in a number of areas. Relax by the new luxurious outdoor pool. Challenge your workout buddies to a pickle ball match on the beautiful new courts. Families & friends will have access to two high-quality restaurants on the premises. Imagine feasting on healthy and nutritious food/beverage selections in the cafe by the pool or hosting your next social gathering in the clubhouse. There’s more! Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, the excitement was over the top when Sky Fitness owner Matt shared a glimpse of the luxurious 12,000 sq.ft spa retreat! Guests will renew their muscles with various types of massage, pamper themselves with the finest of skin facials, improve their health and wellness with high caliber steam rooms, saunas, sweat lodge and bath house. In the health-oriented Russian community, this is called a Banya. It has been proven that relaxing in the Banya services has many health benefits, for example it boosts immune response, helps with anti-aging and slows down diseases such as cancer.
Six years ago, Matt began his mission to increase the health club’s fun energy and members’ BIG smiles. Today, all the fitness equipment has been updated and membership has dramatically increased. But, his mission is not finished yet. His vision is to create a community where families, couples and young people gather for fitness, fun and socializing – even on the weekends!
