Iyengar Yoga 1-2

Iyengar yoga is known for its attention to detail and precise focus on body alignment. BKS Iyengar, the founder of Iyengar yoga, pioneered the use of props to make the practice more accessible for all people. This method is designed to systematically cultivate strength, flexibility, stability and awareness and can be therapeutic for specific conditions. It can only be taught by certified Iyengar teachers, who must complete years of study and are rigorously tested on their practice and teaching skills.
