I just read the article you emailed to us regarding motivating ourselves to exercise. There are days when I don’t much feel like it, but I think having Mark Tolle as my personal trainer is quite the incentive. Although I only see him once weekly, he has printed out exercises for me to do at home which run about an hour or so, and some other stretching exercises to help with my little twinges here and there because I am getting older. The first thing that he does when I see him is ask me “How are you feelin’ today? Depending upon my reply, this structures my session with him. I bought a stationary bike when the pandemic started, so use that for cardio or walk outside weather permitting. I also just recently partnered with a friend who is very out of shape, overweight, and has low energy and we text each other what we are going to do in the way of exercise or what we have already done which is a motivator.

Actually, the priority for motivation should be working with a personal trainer because he/she can be a motivating factor in of itself. When I am home, I actually hear Mark in my head telling me what to do and when to rest between sets. I attribute my motivation to Mark as well as the desire to get those good endorphins going which greatly improves my mood. I owe Mark a lot – for helping me work on balance, strength, and cardio and I am the healthiest I have been in a long time. Mostly, it is for my health – and for my mind as well as my body.

So thank you for sending these encouraging emails. It exemplifies the well being you have for your members. Kudos to you!
